Pure and Plush Co. Terms & Conditions
1. Service Agreement
By booking with Pure and Plush Co., you agree to our cleaning and restoration process, pricing, and timelines as outlined at booking.
Our services are designed to refresh and sanitize gear, toys, and textiles, but we do not guarantee items will be restored to “like new” condition.
2. Health & Safety
We use child-safe, non-toxic cleaning and sanitizing methods wherever possible.
While we take every precaution, customers with specific allergies or sensitivities should notify us in advance.
We reserve the right to decline items that present biohazard concerns (e.g., mold infestation, rodent exposure).
3. Pick-Up & Delivery
Standard pick-up is between 1 PM – 5 PM, with next-morning delivery between 6 AM – 9 AM.
Rush Refresh (add-on) is available 5 PM – 7 PM, with overnight return.
Customers must ensure items are accessible for pick-up/delivery during the confirmed window.
4. Custody of Items
Customers are solely responsible for the care and safety of their items until they are picked up by Pure and Plush Co.
Once items are returned and delivered to the designated drop-off location, responsibility for their safety transfers back to the customer.
Pure and Plush Co. is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage occurring before pick-up or after drop-off.
5. Liability Disclaimer
We are not responsible for manufacturer defects, prior damage, wear and tear, or items that do not withstand cleaning.
In rare cases where cleaning reveals hidden damage, we will notify you immediately.
6. Car Seat Cleaning Liability Disclaimer
Pure and Plush Co. follows all manufacturer instructions and industry recommendations when cleaning car seats.
Only manufacturer-approved methods are used on straps, padding, and plastic components.
While every precaution is taken to ensure safe and responsible cleaning, Pure and Plush Co. assumes no liability for any damage, malfunction, or injury that may occur following cleaning, including issues that arise in the event of a car accident.
Parents and guardians are solely responsible for reinstalling the car seat correctly and ensuring it remains safe and functional. Questions should be addressed by consulting the manufacturer’s manual or contacting the manufacturer directly.
7. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations made within 24 hours of pick-up may incur a $35 fee.
Rush Refresh fees are non-refundable once service has begun.
If you miss your pick-up window without notice, re-booking will be required.
8. Payment Terms
Full payment is due at the time of booking through our online scheduler or at the time of booking a service unless otherwise arranged.
Prices listed include service fees but do not include any applicable taxes.
If items are picked up and the selected service level does not accurately reflect the condition of the item(s), and additional services are required, you authorize Pure and Plush Co. to adjust and charge the difference. Descriptions are provided for all services, and customers are expected to choose the most appropriate option(s).
9. Refund Policy
All sales are final. Due to the nature of cleaning services, refunds are not offered. If you are dissatisfied with a service, please contact us within twenty-four (24) hours of completion for review.
10. Limitations of Cleaning Services
Pure and Plush Co. is not responsible for any damage resulting from cleaning; any compensation, if offered, will be limited.
Some stains, odors, or damage may be permanent despite professional efforts.
Pre-existing wear, fading, or damage are not our responsibility.
Recalled, expired, or molded equipment will not be serviced.
Cleaning may reduce or remove flame-retardant chemicals. By engaging our services, you acknowledge and accept this risk.
11. Plushie Repair & Custom Work
Repair and customization services may require consultation for pricing.
We make every effort to match thread, fabric, and accessories, but exact matches cannot be guaranteed.
Pure and Plush Co. is not responsible for loss of sentimental or irreplaceable items — please consider this before booking.
12. Customer Responsibilities
Please empty all personal belongings from items before pick-up.
Ensure car seats, strollers, and bags are free from valuables, food, or medications.
Items not properly prepped may be subject to an additional handling fee.
Customers must ensure items are prepared for pickup at the scheduled appointment time and is available for drop off at agreed upon time.
Items must be accessible with a clear path, free from obstructions including pets.
All personal belongings must be removed prior to service. Pure and Plush Co. is not responsible for lost or missing items, though reasonable efforts will be made to return anything found. Items reasonably considered trash may be vacuumed or discarded.
13. Convenience Fees
Additional fees may apply under the following circumstances:
Services requested outside normal service areas
Services requested outside standard business hours or on holidays
Missed appointments or failed pickups/drop-offs
Extra trips required due to incomplete or inaccurate customer information
14. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse any service request that falls outside our scope of work or that, in our judgment, may expose us to unreasonable liability.
15.Service Dissatisfaction
If dissatisfied, you must notify Pure and Plush Co. within twenty-four (24) hours of service completion to request a remedy. Failure to do so waives the right to any remedy or adjustment.
16. Liability Limitations
All services are provided “as is” and at the customer’s own risk.
The sole remedy for dissatisfaction with services is discontinuing use.
Pure and Plush Co. shall not be liable for any damages—financial, personal, emotional, incidental, or consequential—in excess of the greater of one hundred dollars ($100) or the total amount paid for services in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim.
17. Car Seats in Transit
In the event Pure and Plush Co.’s vehicle is involved in an accident while transporting a customer’s car seat(s), the customer acknowledges that replacement may be recommended by the manufacturer.
Pure and Plush Co. does not automatically assume financial responsibility for replacement car seats in the event of an accident. Customers may seek reimbursement through their personal insurance provider or the at-fault driver’s auto insurance.
By engaging our services, you accept this allocation of responsibility.
18. Force Majeure / Unforeseen Circumstances
Pure and Plush Co. shall not be held responsible for delays or failure to provide services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to accidents, severe weather, natural disasters, illness, supply chain disruptions, or utility outages.
19.Abandoned Items
Items not retrieved or accepted within fourteen (14) days of service completion, despite reasonable attempts to contact the customer, will be considered abandoned. Pure and Plush Co. reserves the right to donate, recycle, or dispose of such items without further liability.
20. Communication Policy
Customers agree to provide accurate contact information and to respond promptly to communication regarding their service. Pure and Plush Co. will use email, phone, or text as needed to confirm scheduling, service updates, and follow-ups.
21. Photos and Media
Photos and/or videos may be taken before, during, and after cleaning for quality control.
These images may also be used for advertising, social media, or promotional purposes.
Personal information will not be shared without prior consent.
22. Modifications to Services
Pure and Plush Co. reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service, pricing, or policy at any time without prior notice. Customers will be charged the rate confirmed at the time of booking.
23. Guarantee
Our guarantee is a thorough, safe, and professional cleaning — not perfection.
If you are unsatisfied, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery so we can review and address your concern.
24. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to conflict of law principles.
25. Severability Clause
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
26. Updates to Terms
Pure and Plush Co. reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
By booking or using Pure and Plush Co.’s services, you agree to be bound by the most current version of these Terms and Conditions. Continued use of our services will constitute acceptance of any updates or revisions. It is the customer’s responsibility to review the most recent version prior to booking.
